The Letting Process With Nationwide
When we have found our Landlords a tenant we go through certain steps, without fail, to ensure a smooth transition to your new tenant/landlord relationship. Starting with a full photographic statement of condition and property inventory we will set you up ready for an assessment of liabilities at the end of the tenancy.
Meeting current legislation, we then prepare an ‘Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement’ so that your rights are protected and all responsibilities are covered for both tenants and Landlords. Then we will collect the first month’s rent, a security deposit and we will register this with DPS.
However, if you choose to organise this yourself we will need to see a landlord’s registration certificate by law.
Nationwide will also take care of making sure direct debits are set up to you, payments are made on a monthly basis and that a statement for your account, invoices and receipts are all kept in great order and issued when requested.
