Hi I’m John the new owner of Nationwide Sales, Lettings and Management. I took over the agency after experiencing firsthand how frustrating and impersonal the property market can be. Having dealt with poor communication and hidden fees myself, I knew local landlords and homeowners deserved a significantly better standard of care.

So, I purchased this business with a clear mission: to reshape the local property experience. Today, my wife, son, and daughter have stepped in alongside me as a proud family business, joining an already dedicated and established team of professionals. We proudly serve communities across Chorley, Adlington, Horwich, Blackrod, Wigan, and the surrounding areas. Having gone to St Joseph’s RC School —a school that covers these exact locations—and having lived within many of these areas myself, and still doing so today, I have a natural connection to our local communities. Giving back to these communities are also incredibly important to us, as we regularly get involved with charity work and sponsor local community events within the business to show our support. Together, we use my past experiences as a strict blueprint for how not to treat people, focusing instead on absolute transparency, honest advice, and reliable communication. Outside of the office, I love travelling, walking the dogs, and socialising with friends and family.

I’m Josh, and I’m the Sales Manager and Lettings Valuer at Nationwide Estate Agents! Having been part of the team since 2021, I’ve built up over five and a half years of experience in the property industry, helping buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants navigate their property journeys.

My role is all about making sure everything runs smoothly, whether that’s valuing a property, helping homeowners take the next step onto the market, managing the sales side or keeping a sale progressing through to completion. I also work closely with landlords to provide honest advice on rental values and help them get the most out of their investments.

I pride myself on being approachable, proactive and always willing to go the extra mile. I understand that moving home or letting out a property can sometimes feel stressful, so I believe keeping people informed, being available when needed and providing straightforward advice makes all the difference.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, watching Bolton Wanderers and getting out on the football pitch whenever I can! For me, estate agency is about more than just property. It’s about building relationships, earning trust and making what can be a big life decision as straightforward as possible. Whether you’re looking to sell, buy or let a property, I’m always happy to help and make sure you receive the best possible service from start to finish.

Hi, I’m Lydia, one of the newest members of the team here at Nationwide Estate Agents. I look after the business and admin side of your property journey, helping to keep everything organised and running smoothly behind the scenes.

My role includes following up on valuation requests, managing appointments, sending out agency agreements and keeping track of property progressions. It might be the ‘boring’ side of buying or selling a property, but it’s incredibly important! Making sure the important details are taken care of, keeping you informed and supported throughout the process.

Before joining the family business, I spent five years working in nursing, which helped shape me into the friendly, caring and people-focused person I am today. I bring that same supportive approach to my role at Nationwide, always happy to help and have a good chat with anyone, especially when there’s a cup of tea involved!

Living in Whelley, I also have a great understanding of the surrounding areas and communities around Adlington. This knowledge helps me appreciate what makes each area unique and contributes to the personal, local service we aim to provide at Nationwide.

Hi I’m Jane, the Lettings Manager here at Nationwide Estate Agents!

Being local to Adlington I have a strong understanding of the area, combined with over 20 years of experience at Nationwide, which makes me the longest standing member of the team. From this I have developed a wealth of knowledge about my role and the business, allowing me to provide you reliable guidance and consistent support throughout your lettings journey.

My role involves overseeing the day-to-day administration of our lettings, from managing rental payment and preparing move-in-packs to organising tenant referencing. By taking care of these vital details, I help ensure everything is in place for a smooth move and that prospective tenants meet the necessary requirements for their new home.

Outside of Nationwide, I enjoy making the most of the lovely local area, whether that’s walking my dog Billy around the park, enjoying a meal at one of Adlingtons local pubs or restaurants, or most importantly spending time looking after my grandchild through the week.

Hi I’m Nichola the Lettings Negotiator here at Nationwide Estate Agents.

My role involves providing reliable support to both landlords and tenants, from matching suitable tenants with the right properties to helping rental homes run smoothly. This also means working closely with local contractors to organise any necessary maintenance or renovations, and ensuring properties are well looked after. With a strong background in property advertising, sales and marketing, I bring valuable experience to my role, helping me stay organised, work professionally and make informed decisions that benefit everyone involved. I’m here to help make your lettings experience as smooth and straightforward as possible, whether you’re looking to rent out your property or find your next home.

But that’s not all there is to know about me! Having grown up in Chorley and lived in Brinscall for over 30 years, I’ve developed a strong knowledge of the local area and surrounding communities. Outside of work, you’ll often find me walking my three miniature dachshunds along some of the lovely local routes, including Abbey Village and Cuerden Valley Park, which I’m lucky to have right on my doorstep.

I’ve also owned horses throughout my life, giving me a real appreciation for the fantastic countryside and equestrian facilities in the area. With plenty of off-road hacking routes, bridleways and excellent equestrian centres within easy reach, it’s a wonderful place for those who enjoy country living while remaining connected to local amenities and communities.

Hi, I’m Kerrie, the Lettings and Inspections Manager, looking after Adlington and the surrounding areas.

My role is to ensure our lettings service runs smoothly and that both landlords and tenants receive a friendly, professional and reliable service. Working alongside Nichola, I support the coordination of property inspections, maintaining our high property standards and ensure any maintenance issues or concerns are followed up promptly.

I enjoy building positive relationships with landlords and tenants, making sure everyone feels supported and well informed. As I understand how vital maintaining consistent communication with our landlords are, and making sure our tenants feel happy and comfortable in their homes. I take pride in being approachable, organised and proactive, helping support our business operations while providing excellent customer service.

Outside of work, I enjoy going on holiday and making special memories, as well as spending quality time with my friends and family. I believe that building good relationships and making people feel at ease is important both in my personal life and in my role.

My aim is to make the lettings experience as straightforward and stress-free as possible, giving landlords peace of mind, supporting tenants throughout their tenancy and helping to deliver a high standard of service across Adlington and the surrounding areas.

I’m Imogen, and I’m the person behind all the marketing content here at Nationwide Estate Agents! I’ve always loved being creative, with a real passion for photography, drawing and graphic design, which are all skills I get to use when marketing your property. From brochures and professional photography to videos, social media content and even the leaflets you might see through your door, my role is to make sure your property looks its best and gets the attention it deserves.

I’m a bit of a perfectionist, but I like to think it’s an advantage when it comes to your property. I pay close attention to the little details, making sure everything I create is professional, engaging and tailored to the right audience.

For me, great property marketing is more than just making a property ‘look good’. It’s about showcasing what makes your home special, putting it in front of the right people and helping you feel confident that your property is being marketed in the best possible way.

Hi I’m Cody, part of the team here at Nationwide Estate Agents, working behind the scenes as our Accounts Administrator!

Originally from Adlington and now living in Leyland, I have a great understanding of the local area and surrounding communities. I’ve been working since I left school, completing a business apprenticeship before gaining my Level 2 and Level 3 AAT qualifications, which has given me a foundation in accounting and finance.

My role involves managing rents, processing payments to suppliers and contractors, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping to support the day-to-day running of the business. Outside of work, I love walking my cockerpoo, Eddie, spending time with family and friends, and of course, a bit of shopping within the local area!

Although I work behind the scenes, I play an important part in supporting our team and ensuring the financial side of your property journey is taken care of with attention to detail.
